And on a personal note, thank you to Heather Sullivan of Convention Designs for being the brainchild behind the Downtown Denver Private Dining Leads Group when she was at The Palm Steakhouse (est. 2000). This collaborative idea is the model from which a venue group grew in 2009. To the hundreds of private dining & event venue teams who have given heart, soul, knowledge, guidance and shared business over the decades – you are amazing, appreciated and have made Colorado the place that is known for ‘collaboration over competition’. It’s miraculous and what a journey it’s been for me. For those new to their role, those graduating in hospitality; new venues, those who left industries to come into the event world – we see you and we welcome you to our strange and beautiful ‘club’.

So much gratitude,

Dawn
